Billington Lab collaborates with CCDC

 

Lab members visit Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC) to discuss a new collaboration

Sarah Billington, Andrea Green, Huilan Huang, Sneha Jain, and Flora Xu visited the Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC), hosted by Research Director Deland Chan to explore a new research collaboration. The research aims to understand the impact of retrofits, and in particular sustainability retrofits on the wellbeing of affordable housing residents in properties owned, maintained, and managed by the CCDC.

The team also had the opportunity to take a brief tour of Chinatown led by Deland to learn more about its history, view several CCDC properties, and visit the new Chinatown-Rose Pak Muni train station and its beautiful artwork.
