Nature View Potential: Evaluating Building Occupant Connection to Nature

We are excited to announce the publication of our latest research paper, led by PhD student Eva Bianchi, which introduces the Nature View Potential tool. We developed this tool to quantify indoor nature dose, for designers and researchers to better understand the connection between built environments and natural elements. Through generative design techniques we assessed and provide recommendations about the tool's parameters, to achieve optimal precision and accuracy. Through a comprehensive survey, we evaluated the tool's success in capturing individuals' perceived connection to nature.
