Prof. Billington honored with UPS Foundation Professorship

We celebrated Professor Billington’s appointment as the UPS Foundation Professor of Civil Engineering in Urban and Regional Planning. Dean Widom shared quotes from former students and Sarah shared her experiences with and appreciation of her colleagues, lab members, friends, and family throughout her career at Stanford. The honor of holding the UPS Foundation Professorship motivates Sarah to continue pursuing her novel research together with her students and colleagues to develop innovative solutions that will enhance human well-being through our built environment.
