Prof. Billington speaks at the Intentional Spaces Summit in DC
Prof. Billington was an invited speaker for the Intentional Spaces Summit held at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington DC on November 9-10, 2023. The Summit was organized by the International Arts + Minds Lab at Johns Hopkins University together with the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture.
The panel that Prof. Billington participated in was titled Evaluating Complexity: How to Measure Impact. The aim of the summit was to provide a foundation for and foster collaboration between researchers and design practitioners. It was an invigorating two days with over 300 people filling the auditorium, all with a strong interest for how the built environment impacts humans in a diversity of ways.
