Symphonic send-off for Prof. Tavakoli

 

A picnic and a concert to bid Arash farewell

Several group members gathered (along with some of Sarah’s family!) to wish Arash farewell and hear summer intern Jonah Blaydes-Greenberg perform in the Stanford Summer Symphony in Bing Concert Hall. It was a joyful evening and amazing concert and made up for the sadness of saying farewell to Arash. Prof. Tavakoli will begin his appointment as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at Villanova University in mid-August. We wish him much continued success!
