Antonio presents at HAI Five Symposium

 

HAI Five Marks the 5-year Anniversary of the Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute at Stanford

The Billington Lab is involved with two HAI seed grants and presented the work of one of these grants at the HAI Five Symposium. Antonio presented a poster titled “Harnessing Mixed-Scale Datasets to Illuminate Hidden Labor Abuses: The Case of Child Labor in Ghana,” for the lab’s project on forced labor. This project is a collaboration with Prof. Dan Iancu from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Jim Leape, Senior Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford.

It was exciting to participate in the symposium and to see the posters of other HAI affiliates in a broad range of fields including healthcare, education, and AI fairness.
