Lab members present at ACSP
Belle, Antonio, and Sarah present at ACSP in Chicago
Belle, Antonio, and Sarah attended the ACSP Annual Conference in Chicago, IL to present their collaborative research focused on public perceptions of affordable housing. Belle presented initial findings from her recently completed CA-resident survey in a talk titled “Understanding the Public Gaze on Housing: How Do the Designations Affordable, Historic, and Sustainable Impact Conscious and Unconscious Evaluations of Housing Developments.” Antonio and Sarah jointly presented their paper with Belle and Deland titled “Public Perceptions of Neighborhoods, Residents, and Government Involvement are Linked to Diminished Support of Affordable Housing.”
The sessions were inspiring and full of diverse perspectives as well as methodological approaches. They also had time to visit with friends and family in the area (including lab alum Colleen) and take a boat tour!
