Prof. Billington presents lab’s research on affordable housing

Prof. Billington attended the 7th Residential Building Design & Construction Conference held at Penn State University in State College, PA on March 27-28, 2024. The conference was hosted by the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center and included a broad array of speakers from around the world.

Prof. Billington delivered two talks, one titled “Quantifying Nature Dose in Indoor Residential Apartment Buildings to Inform Design for Wellbeing” (co-author Eva Bianchi), and one titled “How Do Building Designations Impact Public Evaluations of ‘Affordable Housing’ Developments in the US?” (co-authors Belle Douglas, Draper Dayton, and Prof. Arash Tavakoli). The talks were part of the sessions focused on Housing & Affordability and Healthy Homes.
